What is Hoops to Hope?

E49 is excited to partner with the Sacramento Kings, Kings Chaplaincy program, and churches in the Sacramento area to unite around the “Hoops To Hope” Campaign.  Hoops To Hope is a series of game night and pregame events with the Sacramento Kings, and is a unified effort among churches in the Sacramento Region focused on Housing, Mentoring, and Community, and part of a regional wide initiative addressing these causes called “The Housing & Hope Project“.

Make a Difference in Our Community

The “Hoops To Hope” Campaign is a chance for the God’s people (the church!) to attend (3) Sacramento Kings games focused on Education, Homelessness, and Human Trafficking. Hoops to Hope is Churches in partnership with the Sacramento Kings and offers individuals and families a night of fun at a Kings game and a chance to support 3 great causes in our community! 20% of the proceeds from these games goes to support the unified, collaborative Housing & Hope effort in addition to proceeds on “Hoops To Hope” T-shirt sales to wear at the game!

E49 believes that by working together, utilizing local nonprofits, churches, business and civic partners (to do what they do best in their areas of expertise), we can better address transitional homelessness, and offer an “alternate path” through housing, mentoring and community to help break the cycle.  Our partnership in the Housing & Hope Project is to offer housing and mentorship to those in need, and do this in collaboration with other organization who are “on mission” together with us. Will you join us?

If you would like a Sacramento Kings or Hoops To Hope representative come to your church to sell tickets and merchandise, please ask your Pastor to contact us to schedule ASAP!
